Pet Popcorn is a family-owned business based in Evergreen, Colorado. The idea for Pet Popcorn originated when we purchased a freeze-dryer with the intent to make single-ingredient treats for our dog and cat to enjoy. When the first batch of ground beef came out of the machine, everyone declared that it looked "just like popcorn!" Our pets, Lollie and Asher, loved the raw, freeze-dried treats! They happily taste-tested a variety of proteins, shapes and sizes, which led to our current products and their cute faces being featured on all of our packaging.

Our founder, Chance, was a delivery driver during the Spring of 2021. As he sat at a red light, he saw an SUV with four dogs trying to stick their heads out of the window--a common occurrence in this outdoorsy state! It was then that he realized how perfect this business idea was. With the support of his family, Chance spent the next two years of his college career growing and nurturing Pet Popcorn, eventually working on it full-time after graduating with a business degree.
